Sydney is a huge sprawling city of 12,367 sq km. By comparison, Bali is only 5,780 sq km! However, the area of the CBD and its main attractions for visitors is very compact and very well serviced by public transport. This relatively small area has a high concentration of hotels, historic buildings, apartment blocks, interesting shops and eating places offering a great variety of foods from different cultures.
It is the most cosmopolitan city in Australia and perhaps the world which makes it a very interesting city.
The central part of this beautiful city has been undergoing a transformation over the past 5 years or so into a mainly pedestrian only precinct. It is clean and without traffic jams as you have in many other cities around the world.
What used to be one of inner city’s busiest roads now for pedestrians and trams only which makes Sydney a more relaxed and cleaner city.
Therefore, be prepared for a lot of walking. You are encouraged to take a more leisurely approach to life and absorb the essence of this wonderful city. The end result is that you will return home in a much fitter condition and a more relaxed frame of mind.
You will appreciate this visit to Sydney as more than just a few days of selfies but as an overall enriching experience.
We will be trying our best to give you a very rewarding experience in this city of ours which we are very proud of. We are sure you will want to come back again real soon and bring more of your friends to share this experience.
