Terms and Conditions
For Australian travellers, it is very important that you refer to the Australian Government website smarttraveller.gov.au for the latest travel advise for travel to any destination before making your booking and before departure.
- ‘Customer’ refers to you.
- ‘We’ refers to New Places Tours (refereed to here as NPT).
- ‘Suppliers’ refers to third party service providers including airlines, hotels and restaurant and other venues.
- While we make every effort to ensure our Suppliers’ quality of service, we cannot guarantee the performance of the Suppliers. NPT acts only as your Agent in providing this tour and is not the provider of transport, accommodation or meals. These services and products are provided by the respective Suppliers.
- NPT reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary if these changes become necessary at our discretion.
- As your agents, NPT will not be liable for any loss or injury however caused. These are the responsibility of the Suppliers. You must ensure that you have taken adequate insurance to cover any of these events.
- The Customer must abide by the Suppliers’ rules and regulations and always handle their equipment with care.
- Our appointed Tour Leader may, at their discretion, ask you to leave the tour group if you refuse to follow reasonable instructions of the Tour Leader. A refund of any unused portion of the Tour will be paid to you in such an event. The amount refunded will be subject to deductions from Suppliers such as cancellation fees.
- NPT has zero tolerance for drunkenness or the use of illegal drugs. If on the Tour, you use or transport illegal drugs or overindulge in alcohol, you will be required to leave the Tour immediately with the forfeiture of any unused portion of the Tour.
- Smoking or consumption of alcoholic drinks is not allowed on transport vehicles.
- In accordance with NSW law, we wish to inform you that we may receive commissions from some Suppliers. The law does not require us to state the amount of such commissions.
Prices and Payments
- Prices quoted are in Australian Dollars unless stated otherwise.
- Advertised Prices are subject to change until full payment is received.
- A deposit of 25% is required with the balance payment date to be advised at time of booking.
- Your booking cannot be confirmed unless full payment is received within the stated deadline.
- Failure to make payment of the final balance by the stated deadline will result in the cancellation of your booking and the forfeiture of deposits made.
